MEET THE FOUNDER

Hi, I'm Matthew John

Founder of SetSwap

After decades working in production finance at major studios like Paramount Pictures, HBO, and CBS Television, I saw firsthand how much waste, and money, was lost with every show wrap. Perfectly good sets, props, materials and wardrobe were sent to landfills simply because there wasn't a better system in place.

That experience led me to pursue an MBA in Sustainable Business. I became passionate about building solutions at the intersection of cost, carbon, and creativity. SetSwap is the result; a circular economy platform built specifically for the film and TV industry.

With SetSwap, I'm helping studios reuse what already exists, reduce waste, and track their sustainability impact, all while saving money. We're creating a smarter, cleaner, more efficient way to produce content.
